Thank you to all the families who have donated to our DonorsChoose project!  You are amazing!  We have also had donations from other Vallemar families, friends, a very generous retired Vallemar teacher, and a very generous anonymous donor.  Our project for wiggle stools is almost fully funded!  Only $99 to go!  Today is the last day DonorsChoose will match your donation dollar for dollar.  Just enter code LIFTOFF during checkout.  Sitting in a chair the majority of the day isn't an easy task, especially for young, wiggly learners. We created a DonorsChoose classroom request to fund 6 wiggle stools in the classroom to help create an engaging learning environment that meets the needs of all of our students. These safe, stable, ergonomic stools allow children to move while sitting down, which helps many children stay seated and focus more on learning and completing their assignments. These stools also help improve posture and develop trunk control. We will use these stools at our learning table, where we work with small groups of students on guided reading, math, etc. Because these stools are light and portable, they can also easily be moved around the classroom as needed.

In return, you'll get awesome photos of your gift in action and our heartfelt thanks.
Thank you so much,
Natasha & Brandy
P.S. If you know anyone who may want to help our students, please pass along the link!
