ST Math
Thank you to all our volunteers who were able to help during computer lab on Monday! Jason Tripp from Mind Institite came on Monday to start our class in the lab. We are now starting to train on our passwords for ST math in the lab...this password is a series of 8 pictures unique to each student. Some students have mastered their password training and are now playing ST Math. It is a really cool computer program that is used k-8 throughout pacifica school district. The main character is JiJi the penguin. As students play at school, their passwords will gradually increase to 13 pictures. When they have a 13 picture password at school, they will be able to play from home as well. As soon as your child is able to play at home, we will email you instructions.

This Week & Next in A2
Dear Families,
A few reminders:
1. Winter Book Report- Our tree will soon be losing its leaves. We need some winter snow! Part of your homework this week is to make a book report snowball for our tree. Read any storybook. Draw your favorite part. Tell a parent what happened and have them write your words. You can copy the title of the book. This is due with your homework packet on Dec. 9th. Please cut out snowball.
2. Winter Tree Craft on 12/17. We will be decorating gluten free sugar cones with green frosting and candies! Please sign up if you are free to help on 12/17 from 12:35-1:30. It's such a fun project! A supply list and more information will be coming home soon! Thanks!
3. Winter Craft Day is 12/16 from 8:30-10:00am. We need parent (and/or grandparent helpers) to help kids at their craft tables. Kids will be rotating through all the kindergarten rooms. A sign up is posted on the kindergarten door. Please email me if you would like me to put your name down. All supplies will be provided and set up.
4. 12/18- Secret Santa Gift Exchange & PJ Day. Please have your child dress in jimmies for a cozy day at school. We will be having hot chocolate and watching a movie. If you have an electric kettle you can let us borrow for the day, we would appreciate it! We also need someone to donate packets of hot chocolate. We want it to be a special day for the kids before winter break. More information about the gift exchange will come home soon!
5. We have a ton of fun crafts and activities planned for December. We are in desperate need of donations. There is a list of items on the door which we still need. Thank you SOOOOOOO much to the parents who have already donated craft items! If you can't get to the store, but would like to donate, we also would appreciate Target or Michaels gift cards and will do the shopping for the items.
