Lunch

  • On November 30th, students will start eating lunch at school (1:30 dismissal).
  • Your child may bring a bag lunch or purchase a school lunch.
  • We will have a practice lunch before that, during the school day.  Students will go on a practice trip to the lunch room, see our class' lunch table, learn how to buy lunch at school, and receive a free school lunch (on this day only).  Dismissal on that day will be at normal 12:00 time.
  • To purchase school lunches for your child, visit the school office or order online.  To order online, CLICK HERE.
  • If your child has allergies, there is a special nut free table in the cafeteria.  Still, it is important to discuss with your child what his/her allergies are, what to avoid in the cafeteria, and who to go to if he/she needs help.
Please keep in mind that healthy, active, and well-nourished children and youths are more likely to attend school and are more prepared and motivated to learn.12  Please join our class in supporting proper nutrition and promoting healthful eating habits both at school and at home.  Our goal is to help our children develop healthy, lifelong habits and strengthen academic achievement.
